Did you mean Out There Live for Dar Williams? I do love that album, and My Better Self.

If I'd taken the time to detail what's great about all my favorites, I'd still be typing a month from now.

Mostly I listen to music of artists I'm planning on seeing in concert soon, but some always make the playlist anyway:

Angie Aparo, For Stars And Moon - his last full length, great voice reminiscent of Ellis Paul. Listen to "She’s Alright By Me" and "Hard Woman"

Crooked Still, Shaken By A Low Sound - the last Rushad LP, so groovy you can barely call it folk or bluegrass. Listen to "Come On In My Kitchen" and "Ain't No Grave"

The Jayhawks, Tomorrow The Green Grass - their masterpiece, harmonies everywhere. Listen to "Blue" and "Nothing Left to Borrow"

Brian May, Back To The Light - the Queen guitarist strikes out on his own for an album that got nonstop play for a month when it came out. Listen to "Driven By You" and "Let Your Heart Rule Your Head"

Dar Williams, My Better Self - live, almost a greatest hits album. Listen to "Iowa" and "The Christians and The Pagans"

I think the oddest thing about Stonehenge is the feeling you're at an ancient, sacred place, but you're only yards away from a motorway with cars whizzing by (you park across from Stonehenge and walk under the motorway to get there).

Paradise was just gorgeous. In the winter Ben called the embassy to see if they knew of anywhere (that was a permit that they had had about it July). Have a permit to all the pubs and clubs in Paradise, but not much else.

I've lived in Seattle for nearly 15 years and I still ask for a window seat and gawk when it's clear enough to see the peaks. On a good day, you can see a big chunk of the Cascade Range, from Mt. Hood to the south all the way up to Mt. Baker in the north (depending on which way you're flying). It's a wonder. I vote for the "no soul" explanation.

I agree with what was stated here but I just want to contribute that the Desire resort is not actually located in Cancun. The area of Cancun that people think about when they hear the term Cancun, is actually a narrow strip of sand known as the Hotel Zone. This area is in reality an island, lined with All-Inclusive and European Plan (room only) hotels, as well as Time-Share Resorts and condominiums. This is perhaps what makes Cancun the ideal destination for everyone, because there are so many choices.

The San Diego Zoo and the Wild Animal Park have always been a "must see" for our visits to Southern California.
