It’s official - Paris and Benji are finished. Shocked? Neither am I.
As reported earlier this week, Paris Hilton was spotted partying with ex-bf Stavros Niarchos in Miami this weekend sans Benji Madden, her beau of 9 months. After her return to L.A., the couple hung out at separate clubs; Benji was seen with Nicole Richie, Paris’s supposed best friend and his twin brother’s girlfriend. Is somebody taking sides already?
On Wednesday, Paris’s rep told E! that “they’re still together… there is no breakup.”
Hours later, a contestant from Paris’s reality TV show My New BFF accidentally (or not) blabbed that the socialite and rocker did break up, but not because of Stavros or infidelity.
Later, the same rep confirmed to the AP that they did split but will “remain very good friends.” Blah blah.
Reasons as to why the once surgically-attached duo are no longer vary, depending on who you believe. Some say that Benji was too controlling and others simply attribute the split to natural differences. Either way, Paris is more fun single!

The king of lists, Forbes, has just released another list - Most Valuable Faces. And forget what Mom said; Forbes ain’t talkin’ about you or me.
The magazine took the liberty of analyzing which celebrity pushed and sold the most magazine covers from June 2007 to June 2008. Likability and appeal also played a factor in the ranking. Read more about the process here.
Angelina Jolie once again trumps Jennifer Aniston but I suppose that’s no surprise considering her year (Jen was actually No. 1 last year). Following the two superstars are the late Heath Ledger, Jamie Lynn Spears, Nicole Richie, Jessica Simpson, Suri Cruise, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, Heidi Montag, and Owen Wilson. Not completely shocking considering a tragic death, teen pregnancy, well-dressed babies, and staged pr moments (ahem, Speidi).
Though Britney Spears landed more covers than anyone (30!), she didn’t even crack the top 10 list. Noticeably absent were also Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan. Is America finally losing interest in the one time Three Musketeers? Why, it’s the end of an era!

Fresh off my previous two posts, suspicious photos of Mary-Kate Olsen and Nicole Richie surfaced on the www.
The two petite starlets seem to be having a grand ol’ time at a house party with a flannel theme (must’ve been MK’s idea). Cigarettes, beer, and wine are prevalent in all the shots. There’s even a strange pinata and a pic of the girls staring at something vomit-y on the floor.
Is it just me or do the pics have a grittiness to them? Anyways, haven’t seen MK with so much emotion and expression.
At least Ashley isn’t in any of them, that’s all I have to say…oh, to be a fly on that wall.

All together: awwww… How much does little Harlow look like her rocker daddy??
Looks like the 5-month-old tiny tot is warming up to the camera (remember her Harper’s Bazaar photo shoot?). Her parents are also house hunting in ritzy Hollywood and just bought a condo in New York City so she better get used to the paps.
Oh, how I wish I was Harlow.

Okay, please let me devote one entry to how lovely – yes, lovely – Nicole Richie has become. First, she undergoes one of the most successful, dramatic transformations from young, crazy, and foul-mouthed sidekick to young, crazy, and chic style icon. And not to get all cheese-ball on you, but we also witnessed her grow into a mature young mom and philanthropist with a good head on her shoulders. 
Nic made an appearance sans bébé at last night’s ASCAP awards to support the honoring of her pop Lionel Richie (also on hand was Nicole’s sister, Sophia, right). And, mind you, please don’t call Lionel “grandpa.” It’s “g-pa” to little miss Harlow.
Nicole’s been a positive influence on some party pals as well. Look at Paris who’s claiming to want to settle down (see below). UsWeekly also reports that infamously restless La Lohan is back in Nic’s circle of friends now. Linds told her close friend that she “admires” how Nicole has her life together. Great, now follow her example!

So has everyone seen the über-adorable photos of Nicole and Joel’s baby? People.com just released more exclusive photos of the teeny Harlow Madden. “Now she looks a little more like Joel,” Nicole tells People, “but when she was born, it looked like Joel had nothing to do with it.” Oh, Nicole don’t joke around! We actually like Joel!
The happy family looks amazing in these almost angelic photos. It’s hard to believe that just over two years ago, Nicole was busy feuding-slash-partying with Paris and getting pulled over for driving in the wrong direction. Look how she has grown. We’re rooting for them!
Now we just have to wait patiently to see what the little J-Lo and Marc Anthony tots look like…
